The redesigned "K" Series Amana PTAC features integrated Bluetooth and RF connectivity, along with the new Amana brand mobile app, which reduces unit setting and configuration time. This modern and streamlined design requires a wired or wireless wall thermostat for operation, and the Bluetooth and RF connectivity allow access to advanced unit features, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, from either the thermostat or the mobile app.

The improved design and materials used in the new Amana PTAC help to reduce operating noise and exterior and operating sound transmission, resulting in a more pleasant and quieter room environment. The unit has a Sound Transmission Class (STC 29) rating, making it quieter than previous models. The new design also features a modern Quiet White color.

Designed and assembled in the U.S.A. for over 45 years, the new Amana PTAC can now achieve an EER value of up to 14.0. New installations require a sleeve and a rear grille, which are not included with the unit. The unit fits a standard PTAC Sleeve Size (WxHxD): 42" x 16 1/16" x 14 1/8" and can cool and heat an application area up to 850 sq. ft.

The purchase will include the Amana MMW-2 Wireless Thermostat, which can control the Amana PTAC from anywhere in the room. The Wireless Thermostat includes the appropriate antenna required for communication between the unit and the thermostat.
